🔎 Carbon Reduction PlanPrime Recruitment Services — Carbon Reduction Plan
PRS is committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050. This Plan is published on our website and reviewed annually.
1) Commitment & Compliance
Prime Recruitment Services (“PRS”) commits to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, aligned to the UK Government strategy and Public Procurement Notice PPN 06/21. This Plan supports our environmental, ethical and social value responsibilities across operations and supply chains.
2) Baseline Emissions (2023)
2023 is PRS’s baseline year. We operate from a serviced office in Belfast with shared utilities (no direct energy contract control), no company-owned vehicles, and occasional business travel (client/council meetings).
| Scope | Description | 2023 Position |
|---|---|---|
| Scope 1 | Direct emissions from sources owned/controlled by PRS (e.g., fuel combustion, company vehicles). | 0 tCO₂e — No PRS-owned combustion sources or vehicles. |
| Scope 2 | Indirect emissions from purchased electricity/heat/steam. | Minimal (shared) — Indirect, via serviced office; not under PRS procurement control. |
| Scope 3 (selected) | Other indirect emissions, e.g., business travel, purchased goods/services, cloud/IT services. | Low — Occasional travel; light office procurement and cloud software usage. |
Note: As a serviced-office tenant, PRS will refine Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 estimates as landlord data becomes available.
